Brady + Katey = Friends and Lovers

Brady and Katey are two of my best friends!!  And I want to take this opportunity to tell their love story :)  They met through a mutual friend and ended up on the phone all night talking.  They made a tight bond quickly, and on the 4th of July, 2010 Brady asked Katey to be his wife.  They were playing Bingo with Brady’s family, and they had set it up so she would win.  Katey was pumped that she won because she got to have a huge snickers!!  But Brady got in her way; she was perturbed even when he got down on one knee.  When he asked her to marry him, Katey was so…astounded that the first words out of her mouth were “shut the hell up!”  It was love <3

For their engagement session we went to three different locations, and had tons of fun!  They love football, but different teams, so Katey even got to tackle Brady; something that she loved maybe a bit too much :)  We spent some time downtown, and at a couple of different parks.  We even played with chalk!

Now I just can’t wait for their wedding on June 16th, 2012.  It’s going to be a wonderful and I’m so very happy for the two of them.  Leave them a little love in the comments!!

Miss S

I had the wonderful opportunity to photograph this beautiful woman for a great anniversary gift.  She wanted to give these images as a gift to her husband since they have been married for almost a year now!  I can't believe that it's been a year since their wedding, but I'm so glad that she decided to give the gift of boudoir.

We had a wonderful time getting to know each other better, and making some beautiful images.  There was so much laughter!! A couple of times when we both just broke down, almost in tears, because we were laughing to hard!  I can't wait to hear what her husband thinks when he gets his gift!

If you are thinking about doing a boudoir shoot, check out the words from my clients on my WEBSITE. I'd love to work with you.

Alyssa + Michael = Forrest Engagement

I had the wonderful opportunity to take the engagement photos of this great couple.  Alyssa is a Fisheries and Wildlife major, and Michael just graduated in Forestry; needless to say the two of them like the outdoors.  They love going camping, and hiking.  When I learned this about them, I knew that the engagement session would be a great and adventurous one.  We climbed down into a river (which we then had to climb out of), rolled around in a forrest, and even built a little tent to play around in.  It was such a blast!

The couple will be heading off to Colorado for a small wedding in July.  I'm so excited for the two of them to be able to spend time where they are truly the happiest, in the middle of a forrest.

meet baby elise

A few weeks ago I had the oppertunity to photograph a newborn girl!  She was so sweet and after she got her tummy full she was a little angel.  Her mommy brought her in this precious little tutu onsie and a flower headband.  She was absolutly precious, and a joy to photograph.

Elise's mommy also wanted some pictures with her new little baby girl.  She too was photogenic...I guess it's pretty easy to know where she got it from :)

I am just about to start my busy season, and I can't wait!!  I have some engagement sessions, a family session, a boudoir session, and much much more!  There will hopefully be many new blog posts with updates and new pictures.  STAY TUNED!

baby boy's first birthday

After photographing this precious little boy for a whole year, we finally got to do a photoshoot for his first birthday.  We had a blast hanging out in the studio and getting some great shots.  I absolutly love this little boy, even though he was much more interested with my lights and my camera than in sitting still.

We also took some pictures with a birthday cake! Such a fun time watching him play in the cake and making a huge mess out of everything.  We then got to have fun cleaning him up as he just giggled!

Heres a little behind the scenes shot.  He loved pushing my stool all around the studio, and I got a great picture of him and his parents in the process!

Can't wait for the other photoshoots that are coming up this spring.  Look for more updates!
